The cat is outta the bag!!!!! or rather the golden list is out. I think its no big secret anymore. The media had a field day yesterday, today with reports on the newspaper, radio, internet etc.....I dun recall any other company who has such publicity......Hmmmm we are probably doing something right since there is no such thing as bad publicity.
There were heaps of tears and hugs that is so natural with the company, and I guess with every restructuring excercise, the human aspect just goes into overdrive and we console one another to put back some sanity into ourselves. More so with MTV.....sob.....sob....
Back to me….. well… you have probably know or knew that I was one of the 43% that was affected by the exercise. Yup….the Company had to realign the organizational and due to this, my role, or rather the whole department that I was in was made redundant.
A bit of history of what I do. Well…in a nutshell. You see all those commercials on the channel… well my team and I are responsible for making sure that these get on air….on time, in the right time slot and ensuring that everything else is fulfilled to fulfill all of these. These involve, liaising with the clients, agency, salesperson, local and overseas media owners….. etc.....
But after all this, I am so grateful for all the opportunities that I was given,…….the patience and guidance from my immediate team colleagues and bosses. You guys have made my 2 years stay here so memorable and I hope I have given you as such much as you have given me.
Let me take this opportunity to say thank you to you guys….here goes…..
